Swadhisthana Chakra and the Element of Water:
Strength through Fluidity

In this three hour workshop we will explore the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of Swadhisthana chakra - seat of the life nourishing element of water and centre of creativity, pleasure and flow.
This will be a morning of yogic theory, practice, meditation and self-reflection.

Yoga and Meditation
Weekly classes following a 10 week term (casual attendance welcome).
Each class moves through a series carefully selected asana (postures), pranyama (breath work), and seated meditation.
The foundational focus of these classes is on cultivating gentle strength, stability, and balance in body, nervous system and mind. Each term is themed with a different quality, a different aspect of yogic philosophy, lightly woven through the structure of the practice.
Theme for term 4: Cultivating the Witness

Mooladhara Chakra and the Element of Earth
To connect to the Earth, to know Mother Earth as our mother, is to connect to the whole cosmos.

Welcome the spring equinox by deepening your connection with the Earth through ritual offerings, yoga postures, pranayama, meditation and contemplation.
In this workshop you will explore your relationship to the Earth element, both internally and externally, and explore ways to deepen connection and cultivate her nourishing qualities in your life.
Tea and light refreshments included.

Yoga to Support the Nervous System:
Psoas, Vagus, Breath and the Element of Earth
An 8 week course working with body, breath and mind to help bring balance and stability to the nervous system. A sequence of gentle trauma informed yoga, pranayama (breathwork), meditation and relaxation techniques will be built upon each week to bring nourishment to the nervous system and provide tools to work with in daily life.
When: The next offering of this course will be in January, 2025.
