Yoga and Meditation

“The success of Yoga does not lie in the ability to perform postures, but in how it positively changes the way we live our life and our relationships.”
- T.K.V. Desikachar

In complex terms, yoga is a holistic, intricately woven ancient system of spirituality, philosophy, ethics, physiology and practice; in its most simple form, yoga is a pathway to the Self.

In reality, in our modern western world, the practice of yoga is a haven of spiritual practice, self-care, re-connection and re-alignment with the true, luminous nature of our being. Yoga offers us the time and space to gently re-inhabit our bodies and quieten our minds amid the busyness and demands of our lives.

Classes and workshops with Two Trees offer a blend of postures and movement (asana), breath work (pranayama), meditation, and deep relaxation (yoga nidra). Yogic philosophy and theory is woven through the practices, encouraging deeper insight and self-understanding.

Classes are gentle, trauma informed, and inclusive of all body types.
Individual sessions are also available.

“Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim.
The better your practice, the brighter the flame.”
- B.K.S. Iyengar
